Today was so much fun!!! I got to hang out with my roommates all day. We went to Seward Co-op, Trader Joes, Goodwill, and Bibelot. It was a great time and we got tons of good food and Christmas presents. I even found a brand new 3DS case at Goodwill for only $5. WHAT A DEAL!
We had a small feast last night for dinner. It was cool and tasty. We had chili, corn bread, fruit, crackers and much more. It was delicious and one of those nights that I will remember forever.
We get our other roommate back soon and we miss her lots! When she gets back it will be perfect here in El Dorado. By the way we call our apartment El Dorado. The last apartment was called Atlantis and we had a lot of good times there. And this apartment has many good moments with many more to come. Especially when our roommie comes back!
Our movie collection keeps growing! It feels like they grow every day which isn't a bad thing because I really like to watch movies! However, we are running out of room for them on the shelf hahaha! Recently we found The Lion King, The Mupets on Treasure Island, and Spice World. You know that movie that the Spice Girls put out when we were young and in love with the idea of being in an all girl band hahaha! So funny!!!
Next weekend is the Lord of the Rings Marathon! I am SOOOOOO excited to be going to this again this year! I've been waiting for this since last year when my roommate and I went! It's so much fun you go and sit in a theater all day and watch all three movies, two of which are the extended cuts! The people there are so nerdy and awesome! We all cheer when the good guys come on and boo when the bad guys appear! Plus you get to eat popcorn and drink soda all day so how can you go wrong there??? YOU CAN'T!!! Hahaha!
The End

So I'm new to the whole blog thing, but here it goes. So this blog is mainly for the things that I have found in my years being at the University of Minnesota. Some of these videos and pictures have been laughed over for many hours between I and my roommates. We find some pretty unusual stuff sometimes and we love unwinding after a long day with some crazy youtube vids. We have enjoyed them and I hope you do too.
Anyways, that is just the intro. So I kind of pride myself on being a bit of a gamer geek. My brothers and I have been playing for many, many years now and have quite a collection of games. Most recently I have been playing Dragon Age 2 over again and Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my 3DS. The 3DS is so cool!!! I was skeptical about the whole 3D thing at first, but once they put out the Zelda themed edition I wanted it. And it seems to have brought me a whole new appreciation for the amazing world of Hyrule. I am waiting until Christmas for Skyrim and it is driving me mad hearing from all my friends how awesome this game is so there isn't much to write about there except that I am super excited for it.
Moving on from games a good movie that I recently rented is Bladerunner. It is the adaptation of the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" which is a really AMAZING book and a quick read in comparison to other books that I have read for classes. The movie was very cool! With a young Harrison Ford how can you go wrong? haha!
I had an Organic Chemistry midterm recently and I know that it is not really the time for midterms anymore, but Chem classes usually just have a ton of midterms all through the semester. Anyways, I got a 65% on it and before you say "Oh, I'm so sorry that you did so terribly!" know that the average on the exam was a 45%. So in that light I didn't do so bad hahahaha!
Well, I don't want this to be one of those blogs that have novel posts so I will make this The End.
